Concert pianist Olga Pashchenko at Noorderkerk
In this concert, pianist Olga Pashchenko combines the late bagatelles of Beethoven with the bagatelles of the contemporary Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov. Olga Pashchenko plays the program on two instruments: Beethoven's pieces on a 6.5 octave Viennese fortepiano, the instrument Beethoven had at his disposal when he wrote opus 126, and Silvestrov's compositions on a modern grand piano.
