He explores topics such as finding peace of mind and soul, embracing complexity and seeking balance between conflicting aspects of the personality. His music often has a strong hip-hop base but also contains soul, jazz and synthesizer influences. He says he invented a new genre called 'Fantasy-Trap' for his latest album, PHANTOM. With 7 studio albums, several EPs and singles, Ares has built up an impressive discography, releasing his music under his own label, 162 Records, since 2018.

With his unique style, heartfelt lyrics and compelling music, Ares remains an intriguing and influential artist within the Dutch music scene.
