From street musician to hit sensation
Mychelle, born and raised in the London district of Hackney, first picked up a guitar at the age of 10. As a teenager, she made a name for herself as a street musician in the English capital and was noticed by Idris Elba in 2019. He invited her to his studio, where she contributed to 'The Yardie Mixtape', the soundtrack to his directorial debut of the same name. Two years later, she released her debut single 'That Way' and her EP 'Closure' a few months later.
