Bec Plexus
Bec Plexus has recently started working on 'live coding': a form of music-making in which the composer controls sounds on the spot by typing programming language. It offers the ability to switch quickly and create complex, 'living' textures with simple steps. Live coding lies between improvisation and composition.

'With this new work we reflect on the cycles of metamorphosis in nature and in ourselves. I add extra layers to the music in the form of poetry and images. By speeding up and slowing down time, and by bringing together the universal and the personal, I invite the audience to take a moment to reflect on how everything is always in motion.'
