Blanco
Kennington rapper Blanco has twice been at the forefront of major cultural changes in the British music scene. He began his career with Harlem Spartans, a pioneering group in drill music, but later surprised everyone with his solo project 'City of God', in which he swapped drill's trademark 808s for Baile funk.
City of God
With his first solo project in 2021, Blanco reinvented himself and emphasized his aversion to fixed genres. 'City of God' was a striking work that embraced Baile funk and showed his versatility. Now he is working on a new project that is less conceptual and more like a mixtape.
