Instant crowd pleasers

They hardly need an introduction. The Cello Biennale brought the jazz/rock duo BartolomeyBittmann to the Netherlands for the first time in 2015, and things moved quickly after that. The energy, perfection and virtuosity of cellist Matthias Bartolomey and violinist and mandola player Klemens Bittmann - and especially their own catchy compositions - made them instant crowd pleasers. They have since played at many festivals, radio and TV and have never missed a Biennale. Of course, the Viennese duo cannot be missed at this anniversary edition either.
