'Cloud Souvenirs' is Chris Staples' 6th full-length album, 10 songs born from accumulated memories and insights into life's hidden places. The album was recorded while travelling back and forth to Florida to care for his mother. Despite or perhaps because of this emotional charge, Staples built a unique layered album, sometimes light and airy and sometimes more grey and heavy. It is a record on which he dares to expose his soul more without deviating from his characteristic DIY indie sound.
