Nena lives in a country where your nose grows when you lie. Everyone in that country wants to have the longest nose, because a long nose is something to be proud of. One morning something terrible happens. Nena wakes up and her nose stays short. No matter what she tries, her nose doesn't grow anymore. She has to solve this problem and fast! But how?

About honesty and friendship

The nose is a children's concert full of lies. A performance about a big problem because of a small nose, about honesty, about what it's like to be different... and about friendship. This brand new performance was written by composer Renske Vrolijk and lyricist Sanne Schuhmacher on behalf of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the direction is by Caecilia Thunnissen.

The nose was written with financial support from the Performing Arts Fund and was created in collaboration with Oorkaan.
