Le Sacre du Printemps

The CREA Orchestra is the vibrant student orchestra of the CREA Foundation, the cultural organization of the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The orchestra has been under the inspiring leadership of conductor Bas Pollard for 35 years. Students from the Dance Teacher course at the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts (LMIPA) created a new choreography based on one of the most controversial works of the twentieth century especially for this concert. LMIPA trains performing artists and teachers for the national and international field of Performing Arts, especially for dance, musical and musical theater .

In addition to Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps, parts from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake and Bizet's Carmen will also be performed.
