Durham University Classical Ensemble
Durham University Classical Ensemble are putting on a free concert as part of their summer international tour. The concert will take place at Meerpad Church, Meerpad 9, 1025 LA Amsterdam on Saturday 8th June at 7pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to appreciate some wonderful renowned music for free and to support a young group of musicians.

The concert will have a repertoire of pre-1832 classical music. Durham University Classical Ensemble is a group of 20 musicians from Durham University. They perform regularly in their local area including works such as: Beethoven Symphony No.3 ('Eroica'), Coriolan Overture, Fanny Mendelssohn Overture in C. The group is a very high standard auditioned orchestra that practice weekly all year round. Each summer the group goes on tour and puts on free concerts around the globe.
