Throughout all the years that I have been performing with my gesture driven electronic instrument, there has been one question which is posed to me after every show: "Can I try?" During my time in Minneapolis, I got the opportunity to finally answer this question with a resounding yes! with the creation of the sound installation DiriJent, in which the audience is invited to take the control of the sound into their own hands (literally). For this ledenconcert, I will build this installation in the large hall in splendor, and invite the audience to take turns playing the installation, alternating with my own lecture performance, with a q&a woven throughout the evening. Loosen your arms, and come ready to play!
