The incomparable saxophonist Hans Dulfer, with his all-star band Total Response, is finally performing close to home. It's a unique opportunity to see the internationally renowned yet down-to-earth Dutch musician play in the Grote Kerk in De Rijp.

After a quiet period and a thrilling start in Japan with daughter Candy, Hans Dulfer has formed a nice group around him with his band Total Response.
It includes Boris van der Lek (including Earring, Brood, Deelder and 25 years of Dulfer), Guitarist Jerôme Hol (one of the most spectacular and most sought-after guitarists of the moment, in the spirit of Eddie van Halen and Jimmi Hendrix), Drummer Hans Eijkenaar, (worked with the top of the Dutch and international music scene, including Anouk, Kane, Kayak and can be heard on dozens of top-40 hits), Bass guitarist Ishaq van Niel (you have to have seen it once to believe that such a way of playing bass exists) and Koen Schouten with his beastly growling baritone sax (including Caro Emerald and Michelle David). It will be an evening full of playing pleasure and energy.
The band plays new songs and idiosyncratic arrangements of Dulfer classics, with Dulfer's unwaveringly challenging sax in the leading role!
