The Nominees give the public and jury a taste of what can be expected from them during the Grachtenfestival in August in the series Meesterlijk! During this series, each Nominee is given the freedom to put together their own program in which they can demonstrate their musical talent, craftsmanship and artistic qualities in a versatile way. They show the jury what their Residence would look like at the Grachtenfestival 2025.

Nominees 2024
Violinist Charlotte Spruit (2000) is a passionate chamber musician and soloist. She gave concerts at prominent locations such as the Concertgebouw, Wigmore Hall and the Elbphilharmonie. Charlotte studied at the Guildhall School of Music with David Takeno and at the Royal Academy of Music with Ying Xue. She is pursuing her master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music, where Rachel Podger and Pavlo Beznosiuk teach her.
Pianist Florian Verweij (1997) debuted in Het Concertgebouw in 2023 for a sold-out Recital Hall. He then completed his master's degree with the highest distinction with Naum Grubert at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Since 2018, Florian has regularly participated in family and school performances of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. In recent years he has been invited to perform in Spain, Lithuania, Georgia, Greece, Canada and the USA.
Viola player Takehiro Konoe (1997) was born in Amsterdam and is studying with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn at the Amsterdam Conservatory. He started playing the violin at the age of four with professor Coosje Wijzenbeek. He has won many prizes, such as the Osaka Chamber Music Competition with the Capybara Piano Quartet. Takehiro plays a copy of a Carlo Bergonzi viola made by Roger Hargrave in 1991
