Joost in Residence: Virtuoso versatility for harp, drums & orchestra Somer
Experience a double premiere with the latest work, 'Raga Malika' by the Dutch composer Arjan Linker, inspired by exotic soundscapes, and the sunny Harp Concerto by Roel van Oosten, also from the Netherlands. Indian Raags inspired Arjan, and the result can be heard for the first time in the beautiful NedPho Koepel. A concert with rhythm and swing and a harp(ist) to remember! Note: The end time is an indication.

The concert
Sometimes, there are concerts where everything comes together, and this is definitely one of them! Artist in Residence Joost Willemze shines and swings in the rarely performed harp concerto by the Dutch composer Roel van Oosten. He is accompanied by the chamber orchestra Somer, led by conductor Rolf Verbeek. But as if this were not enough, the concert has a world premiere: "Raga Malika" for drums solo by Dutch composer Arjan Linker, in which Wouter Kühne will assume the role of soloist and orchestra.
