Animistic Beliefs’ contemplative performance Thức Tỉnh touches on themes of queerness, colonialism, hope and self-expression, ultimately culminating in a rave that celebrates complexity and the birth of new stories. Thức Tỉnh merges ancestral stories with modern expressions. The trio draws on traditions from Vietnamese-Chinese, Moluccan and pre-Columbian cultures, bringing this heritage to life through the use of traditional instruments such as the Tifa drum and the Tayronian ceramic flute.

Aïsha Devi + Emmanuel Biard

Swiss-born Aïsha Devi is one of the most remarkable names in electronic music of the past decade. She combines mysticism – inspired by her Nepalese heritage – with a sharp club sensibility. Les Immortelles attempts to unravel the mystery of the boundary between life and death, with Devi evoking experiences that transcend both body and mind. Audiovisual artist Emmanuel Biard is responsible for the scenography and visual presentation of Les Immortelles .
