COCON Cello Octet Amsterdam

Eight cellists, enveloped by eight moving shells: for COCON, the Cello Octet and artist Nick Verstand create a fascinating scene. The shells unfold and transform simultaneously with the music in a subtle interplay of light, sound, performance, and robotics. COCON includes six new compositions specially created for the octet, with the opener being Sarah Davachi's long work Graduals. This concert is part of The Rest is Noise.
