Inspired by groups such as the ''Miles Davis Quintet'', ''Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers'' and the ''Wayne Shorter Quintet'', the Giedra/Valente Quintet creates original music reminiscent of the jazz tradition of Hard Bop , but also takes a step forward towards something new. Striking melodies and enchanting solos bring together 4 nationalities (Spain, Lithuania, Portugal) and reflect a strong long-lasting friendship.
