Singer-songwriter GINGE from Leeuwarden, gets her inspiration from artists like Joy Crookes and Snoh Aalagra. In her music you can find traces of genres like r&b, jazz, neo-soul and pop.
Playing Around
Her debut EP Belly was a soulful exploration, a journey guided by intuition and gut feelings. Then came her debut album Bummer , a sonic antidote to collective darkness, a beacon of optimism that urged listeners to embrace adventure and hedonism. In early 2024, she teamed up with .multibeat and released the single 'Cold Nights' among others.
After performances at festivals such as Into The Great Wide Open, ESNS and MS Dockville, she will release her debut album Playing Around this year. As she prepares for her next project and her performance in the Bovenzaal of Paradiso on November 22, GINGE keeps us in suspense and promises a fusion of everything she has shown so far - a delicious surprise waiting to happen.
