Grachtenfestival: Viride Kwartet
Since its founding in 2017, the Viride Quartet has established itself as an indispensable string quartet. The quartet's four members met at the School for Young Talent in The Hague, where a close friendship developed that formed the basis for their ensemble. The quartet distinguishes itself by a unique mix of well-known repertoire and lesser-known compositions by various composers. Entrance is free.
Grachtenfestival: Viride Kwartet
Program
The program includes Beethoven's 7th String Quartet and the 4th String Quartet by Dutch composer Oscar van Hemel. It is admirable that the Viride Quartet not only raises awareness of international repertoire but also offers a platform to Dutch composers such as Oscar van Hemel. In this way, they contribute to the preservation and spread of the rich musical traditions of the Netherlands.
