John Cooper Clarke is a welcome guest on stage. He has been invited to make guest appearances by, among others, the Sex Pistols, Joy Division, Buzzcocks, The Fall, Elvis Costello and New Order. Between 1978 and 1983 John Cooper Clarke released 5 albums and several EPs and singles. His poems are musically supported by the band The Invisible Girls.
JCC's long-awaited autobiography was published in 2020, called his most famous poem 'I Wanna Be Yours'. In it he talks in great detail about his fascinating life in Manchester, the rise of punk and drug addictions. It will soon be reprinted for the 4th time.
