The Royal Palace Amsterdam opens one of its most special halls for the second time in almost two hundred years. In this historic setting, harpist and artist-in-residence Joost Willemze will perform a concert of royal allure.

Specially composed for the Royal Court

The regal program includes Johann Christian Bach's concerto for harp with the well-known theme 'God Save the King'. We will also listen to very rarely performed works from the Royal Collections, which were specially composed for the court or performed at the Palace on the Dam, and are now hidden in the archives of the House of Orange, where Joost was allowed to retrieve them for this occasion.
