Kari Faux
Kari Faux is an American rapper and singer-songwriter from Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2014, Faux released her debut mixtape 'Laugh Now, Die Later'. It was well received by critics and earned a spot on Pitchfork's 'Most Overlooked Mixtapes of 2014'. The EP would especially attract the attention of rapper Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover. He remixed Faux's 'No Small Talk' and put it on his own mixtape 'STN MTN'.

Currently, Kari Faux lives in Houston, Texas; she moved from Little Rock to further her career and produce more music. In 2023, Kari made a full return with her third album 'REAL B*TCHES DON'T DIE!', an ode to her southern roots. The LP interweaves Kari's bright production with her relaxed and bossy flow. With her Dirty South roots, in combination with influences from Outkast and UGK, she asserts her power. At the heart of her latest work, the rapper and singer-songwriter keeps the atmosphere authentic with her unashamedly dominant energy.
