Christmas Eve in the Concertgebouw: a warm celebration for young and old

The atmospheric Christmas Eve service that has been organized for more than 50 years in Het Concertgebouw, takes the attendees along in the Christmas story. Under the direction of Benjamin Bakker and with the cooperation of a wide range of musicians, beautiful Christmas carols sound, from familiar to surprising, from classical to new. 'Music brings you to the core of the Christmas story, calming and jubilant.' There is room for singing together, about light in the darkness, about peace.

Reflection

Christmas is also a time for reflection. The Christmas story from the Bible is read together and Reverend Taco Koster of the Sunday Evening Church (also called Services with Interested Parties) takes you along in an encouraging story. Christmas is more relevant than ever.
