In 'Young Talent in the Oude Wester', several up-and-coming and promising musicians play in Amsterdam's iconic Westerkerk. Together with Evan Bogerd, the organist of the Westerkerk, a young talent presents a varied program filled with solo pieces and compositions.

Princess Christina Competition
The 17-year-old Turkish Ilayda Afşar started playing the oboe at the age of 10 and soon played in the Bilkent Youth Symphonic Orchestra. After 5 years, she left for the Musica Mundi School in Belgium to study with Karel Schoofs. She made a big impression in the national semi-final of the Princess Christina Competition, and today, she provides a varied program in collaboration with Evan.
