With a cheerful mix of fine music, the WesterHarmonie gives a free family concert in the Amsterdam Public Library (OBA). The WesterHarmonie is celebrating its 120th anniversary and is offering this concert to the residents of the neighborhood.

The Wester Harmonie brings cheerful music
Come listen to work by Astor Piazzolla, Steven Reineke, Stevie Wonder, Barry Manilow, and the typical Amsterdam waltz Goudstroop, composed especially for the WesterHarmonie - on its 50th anniversary - by Herman Lureman.
The Wester Harmonie is a modern symphonic wind orchestra of more than 30 amateur musicians led by the young conductor Arthur Demonceau . The members share at least one characteristic: fun in playing, but with a serious undertone.
With special performances at various locations and a remarkable choice of music, the orchestra attracts a new audience. New members are welcome. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
