In September 2021, MEAU released the single 'Dat heb jij gedaan'. With this song, she won triple platinum and she won gold for her album 22 , a week after the album was released. Her warm sounds, dreamy choruses and honest, personal lyrics appeal to both the Dutch public and other artists. For example, she sang with Paul de Munnik and in the supporting program of Suzan & Freek in the Ziggo Dome. With Racoon she made 'Dans m'n ogen dicht', about the dark and the light sides of life. With the Metropole Orchestra she sings her big hits and new songs, such as 'Terug in m'n armen' and 'Onbereikbaar'.

Metropole Orchestra

The Metropole Orchestra plays jazz, pop, soul, film music and much more. They have shared the stage with greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Brian Eno and Bono. They have played at Pinkpop and Lowlands and with contemporary talents such as Gregory Porter, Jacob Collier and tonight MEAU. With its unmistakable sound, the orchestra has won no less than four GRAMMY awards. The Metropole Orchestra wants to touch people with its music and that is where MEAU and the orchestra find each other. It guarantees a beautiful, moving evening.
