In this concert, Photonen lets you enjoy well-known and lesser-known Christmas repertoire.

Veni, veni Emmanuel by Kodály will get you in the Christmas spirit and peace can be found in the tranquil Ne timeas Maria by the Renaissance composer De Victoria. Brich an, o schönes Morgenlicht by Bach gives a warm Christmas light, while Leighton and Britten provide exciting harmonies.

Carols and Christmas songs

You will also hear carols and Christmas songs, such as Noël Nouvelet ( arr. King's Singers). Conductor Jeroen Spitteler likes to surprise the listener with Christmas music: "It is such an appealing repertoire. Sometimes you just find the nicest gems in our own Dutch musical treasure trove...
