Classics
During these shows the band will - for the first time - play their albums 'Bossanova' and 'Trompe Le Monde' in their entirety, as well as other classics from their repertoire. The American band achieved a modest degree of popularity in the United States, but was mainly successful in Europe. Their sound influenced acts such as Nirvana, Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer.
30 songs
Pixies' popularity grew in the years following their 1993 split, leading to a 2004 reunion, sold-out world tours and 4 more albums: 'Indie Cindy' (2014), 'Head Carrier' (2016), 'Beneath the Eyrie' (2019) and 'Doggerel' (2022). In 2012, founding bassist Kim Deal decided to leave the band; Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering decided to continue and released the band's first studio album in over twenty years, 2014's 'Indie Cindy'. After working with several bassists, the Pixies' regular bassist has been since 2016 Paz Lenchantin. The foursome is known for their strong live performances. Pixies' sets regularly consist of more than 30 songs and there are no planned set lists or sound checks in advance.
