Play As We Are

Participate in an open workshop in which you jointly study scores for movement and music led by Play As We Are makers Maya Felixbrot, Alex Welsh and Alexandra Baybutt.

In the workshop Play As We Are will:

-Present and explain 'scores'

-participants learn how to execute this instruction set

These scores are mainly open proposals and consist of a combination of text, graphic elements and somatic movement and music instructions based on your own body. This means that anyone can implement them: the standard is tailor-made for you.

Participants of the PAWA Summer Workshop will actively participate while you - the audience - are invited to contribute in the following ways: by observing, by asking questions or by physically participating in studying and executing the score. These activities are adapted for the public, where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, physical condition, musical instrument or singing ability.

The workshop ends with an informal performance of the scores for all attendees.
