Thumping drums
Since 2016, Roland Cristal has been releasing lo-fi techno productions in which samples from the internet and voices from his childhood merge with simple, rhythmic and, above all, pounding drums. The French producer has released two albums, 'On veut plus d'océans – L'album de tous les danger' was released in October 2022. His DIY universe is very similar to the Parisian rave collective Dimension Bonus (known from Salut C'est Cool), but sometimes also to Mr. Oizo's atonal melodies or Kraftwerk's minimalist arrangements.
