Under the alias Romare, the British Archie Fairhurst makes playful electronic collages based on source material from soul, blues, jazz and disco. Versatile
With 2022's 'Fantasy', the producer expands his sound more abstractly. This project incorporates elements of fantasy films from the 1970s and puts them in Romare's signature rhythmic electronica. The release of 'Fantasy' also marks the start of Romare's brand new record label 'YOU SEE', on which he recently released his latest single 'Here Comes The Night'. In the spring of 2024, Romare will return to Amsterdam for a live performance of his versatile work.
