Namibian roots music x electronic neo-soul

Shishani was born in Namibia and based in Amsterdam. Hen not only works as an artist, but also conducts academic research into Namibia's musical heritage. With the bands Namibian Tales and Shakuar they brought their research into the Namibian music tradition to the stage. Shishani is also the founder and frontperson of Miss Catharsis, which advocates for female and non-binary creators of color.
