Terrace Concerts 2024 - Horizon Quartet
The remarkable thing about the horizon is that it always moves with you. The four clarinettists of the adventurous Horizon Quartet know this better than anyone. They come from different places and met each other at the Amsterdam Conservatory. In this energetic and melancholic program, they combine music from Spain and Latin America with touches of jazz and an iconic aria from an opera by Rossini.
Terrace Concerts 2024 - Horizon Quartet
Energetic and melancholic music for four clarinets
The four clarinettists of the Horizon Quartet have only been playing together for a short time, but with an air as if they have been doing it for years. They recently premiered a forgotten work from the Second World War by composer Julius Hijman, released on CD by Donemus in the Forbidden Music Regained series.
