Saxophonist Deborah Witteveen and bassoonist Thomas Dulfer are opposites, musically and personally. They are extroverts versus introverts, emotional versus contemplative. What they have in common is their incredible talent. With very diverse music, from baroque to brand-new compositions, Dulfer and Witteveen will investigate the times in which we live tonight. They challenge and complement each other in a surprising and candid concert.

Candid, virtuoso and with a broad view
Dulfer and Witteveen have been a duo since 2017, and two years ago, they were finalists in the prestigious Dutch Classical Talent competition. Both graduated with distinction and are also working solo. In this program, they showcase their broad view and ask provocative questions: Is it actually important to the audience who the musician is as a person? How do you, as a musician, deal with the day's issues? What are you afraid of? What are you hoping for?
