The Ex
The Ex has been active since 1979 and the band emerged from the punk scene in which they were mainly influenced by a band like The Fall. In the meantime, the band has evolved into one of the most adventurous and innovative acts, in the Netherlands and far beyond. Rock, jazz, noise and music from all kinds of influences are the basic ingredients of The Ex.

Forward In All Directions
2024 marks the 45th anniversary of 'Forward In All Directions' and marks the year of the 2000th performance. The band decided about six months ago to get back together and write music. On September 25, the adventure will take them to Paradiso, a place where they have been welcome guests since the 1980s.
