British post-punk duo
On the British post-punk duo's first cassette and vinyl releases, they blend reverb-drenched shoegaze with a gritty, minimalist electronic production reminiscent of Cabaret Voltaire and the Jesus and Mary Chain. Their sound has become more streamlined and sharply defined over the years, but still icy, smoky and atmospheric at the same time. After an impressive night show in the Melkweg during ADE 2023, they return this year with brand new music. On the 10th studio album 'Tremors', the duo returns to the dark sound that embodied their first releases, while retaining the infectious energy of the previous record.
Support: Left For Pleasure
The evening starts with a show by the young German dark wave group Left For Pleasure, who are steadily entering the post-punk scene with their debut album on Detriti Records. This supporting program is supported by Liveurope: the first European initiative that supports concert halls in the promotion of emerging musical talent from Europe.
Please note: the end time is an indication.
