The Limiñanas

The Limiñanas are a rock band from the South of France led by the married couple Lionel and Marie Limiñana. Their music combines garage rock, psychedelic rock and shoegaze with French chanson, characterized by dreamy melodies, reverb-rich hooks and raw guitar lines. In their early years they mainly gained fame in the United States after their music became popular via MySpace and was heard in the series Gossip Girl. Later they also had a worldwide breakthrough. Over the years the duo worked with Anton Newcombe, frontman of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Peter Hook of Joy Division and New Order.
