The Imperial March, Princess Leia's Theme, The Asteroid Field: fans of the Skywalker Saga will immediately prick up their ears when they hear this legendary film music. And lovers of classical music also know how to appreciate John Williams' soundtracks. It is not without reason that the phenomenal score and compositions of Star Wars have been voted 'best film music of all time'. During this concert you will hear music from the Star Wars films, but the films themselves will not be shown.

John Williams

Williams has succeeded astonishingly well in providing an impressive musical accompaniment to the breathtaking images. Without his melodies, the films would not be half as exciting and magical. In addition to Star Wars, John Williams has also written the music for Jurassic Park , Saving Private Ryan , Harry Potter , ET , Jaws and Schindler's List . With 51 Academy Award nominations, Williams is, together with Walt Disney, the most nominated composer in the film industry.

The Star Wars Suite

The Star Wars Suite is performed by The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv and the National Choir of Ukraine 'Dumka'. In total more than 140 young, gifted and passionate musicians, led by composer, pianist and conductor Raymond Janssen.
