Edin Karamazov & Pavel Steidl
An art that Bach mastered at the highest level: making transcriptions. Harpsichord concertos by Vivaldi, old chorales, a theme by Frederick the Great: the new versions are unmistakably Bach. Bosnian guitarist Edin Karamazov has mastered the same art. He has given Haydn, Mozart and Schubert a new look. He performs the result with his friend Pavel Steidl from the Czech Republic. The duo Karamazov and Steidl have made a name for themselves with their unorthodox approach to the classical recital.
Masters of the Guitar
The established world top, but also young and promising: the series Masters of the Guitar offers beauty and colorful sounds by guitar specialists. The musicians come to the Concertgebouw from all over the world to seduce the listener with a diverse repertoire on this versatile string instrument.
