Fuse
They call themselves 'an unusual ensemble', and Fuse is that too. Since its founding in 2012, the ensemble that made waves as the 'delightful house band' of Podium Witteman has united six musicians with partly a classical and partly a jazz background. Partly thanks to the unusual line-up of a string quartet with double bass and percussion, the six-piece creates an unprecedented musical world. A world in which you will find traces of classical music, jazz, folk music, minimal music and improvisations that make every performance a unique experience.
Wall of Fuse
This summer, the virtuoso six-piece will present the Wall of Fuse, a musical journey through favourite pieces of music that have entered Fuse's DNA in recent years. The most beautiful melodies and clever rhythms from Dmitri Shostakovich, Billy Strayhorn and Kinan Azmeh, among others. It is a surprising musical world, with the warmth and energy of the most adventurous ensemble in the Netherlands.
