Wouter Planteijdt | Bullhorn Ending
Guitarist and singer Wouter Planteijdt has been writing the songs for his project Bullhorn (American slang for megaphone) since 2018. His songs are personal, socially relevant and breathe a spirit of the times that is close to the hearts of many, but which nowadays sometimes seems far away. Planteijdt himself is the lead singer of Bullhorn and, as is known, plays the guitar (Sjako!). He is assisted by Gerco Aerts (André Manuel, B-Movie Orchestra) on double bass and Mischa Porte (Pitou, Amsterdam Klezmer Band eva) on drums and background vocals.

Bullhorn Ending
The songs for Bullhorn arose from Planteijdt's need to emphasize and highlight a more comtemplative side, in contrast to the (incidentally extremely virtuoso) heavy rocking Sjako! style. From a musical point of view, Bullhorn's repertoire is a search for space and tranquility, which, miraculously, still exudes the pleasure of playing.
During performances, Planteijdt tells candid stories between songs about the creation of the lyrics and about his almost 50-year career as a guitarist 'of the stars' (Maarten van Roozendaal, Sanne Wallis de Vries, Blues Brothers, Jelka van Houten).
