A direct connection between maker, visitor and the artwork

NockNock Art Fair was created with the idea of making art accessible to a wide audience. Artists are present during the fair, giving visitors the opportunity to engage in conversation and creating a direct connection between maker, visitor and artwork.

This interaction creates an experience where art comes to life and the stories behind the works are shared. Visitors can purchase their favorite work and take it home. A recurring element is the show 'Art on the Catwalk' where works of art are shown in a dynamic way by models on a catwalk.

Two and a half times as much art to admire

During the NockNock Art Fair, all exhibiting artists are present. This edition, 150 artists from home and abroad are exhibiting, making the offer two and a half times larger compared to the previous year.

One of the new names is Geert Slaats: previously working as a designer of sneakers and shoes, he became an artist at a later age. His intuitive work, consisting of photography, drawings and paintings, is characterized by simplicity. He dresses abstract silhouettes with leftover materials, fashion is the common thread in his creations.

Photographer Julia Dongstra will also be present for the first time. With her fine art, she makes the viewer curious and gives space for imagination and perception. By using natural light and the shapes of the female body, enchanting images with a mysterious edge are created.

Ceramicist Mo Cornelisse combines modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship. Her latest work is a three-dimensional 'porcelain experience' that invites not only to be looked at, but also to be touched and even listened to.
