Het Zomeroffer (The Summer Sacrifice)
It's going to happen this summer: the car is going to die. He has brought us a lot, individual freedom, adventure, convenience and eroticism, but his time has come. He has to believe it. 'The Summer Sacrifice', to be seen in the Amsterdamse Bostheater in Amstelveen, is based on the famous 'Le Sacre du Printemps' (the Spring Sacrifice) by Igor Stravinsky. In a grand musical theatre spectacle in which theatre, music, song and dance merge into a contemporary but timeless ritual, our beloved car comes to its end. Please note: the start and end times mentioned are an indication and are subject to change. In Dutch with English subtitles on certain days.
