In a lost paradise, Djek and Djill try to find out what their love really is without the judging eyes of the outside world. In a continuous series of metamorphoses, they discover both the enchanting and monstrous sides of each other, but are left with the question of whether this true love might only exist in their imagination. The performance can be seen in Theater Bellevue.

Why such a strange love
Djek and Djill retreat into the deep forest, away from the chaos of the big city. Here they quietly find out who they are to each other. What do they mean to each other, regardless of their origins, social status and expectations? They transform again and again to meet each other as new characters. This visual, musically driven performance, inspired by Frankenstein and Disney classics, consists of epically orchestrated soundscapes, original pop melodies, expressive dance and countless costume changes. Why such a strange love is a surreal fairy tale that starts from the belief that if you really want to see each other, you have to look at each other's dreams.
