History of the Tarot

Tarot originated in China, travelled to the Middle East via the Silk Road and eventually reached Italy and the rest of Europe. Tarot has gone through many changes over the years and has become a cultural fusion. Since the 18th century, when French occultists reinterpreted this deck as a symbolic representation of ancient wisdom, various esoteric movements have projected their cosmology and traditions onto tarot.

During this lecture and workshop, you are invited to decipher the symbols and structures of tarot. Whether you are a seasoned tarot reader or new to the world of tarot, this session is designed to strengthen your understanding and interpretation of the symbols so that you can intuitively approach them.

The lecture is given by Safa Mirror and can also be followed online. The session is in English. Participants who are present on-site can receive their own short tarot reading.
