Get into the Christmas spirit during the festive Christmas concert on Sunday afternoon, December 15 in the atmospheric Westerkerk. Harmonieorkest Groot Excelsior and the Plantagekoor will provide a varied program with mainly classical Christmas music before the break and a light program after the break with popular American Christmas songs. You can sing along with the well-known Christmas songs.

30 years TOUTPARTOUT with Briqueville + Joe Gideon

In 2024, European booking agency for alternative music, TOUTPARTOUT, will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary with a series of anniversary concerts across Europe. On Sunday 15 December, the Ghent agency will bring this festive energy to Paradiso, where the anniversary will be celebrated with a day full of performances in both the Main Hall and the Upper Hall. The programme will offer a stage to both emerging and established names in alternative music.

Boaz

Frisian Boaz Roelevink discovered his love for country, blues and soul early on, because a lot of music was played in his family. In 2020, the singer participated in the SBS6 talent show 'We Want More' where he reached the finals. He started writing his own songs and in collaboration with more experienced musicians such as Maurice van Hoek and Mercy John he developed his skills as a songwriter. The result is the album 'Keep It Simple', with 11 passionate guitar songs with an origin in American roots music.

MMYYKK (pronounced "Mike") is a talented multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer from Minneapolis, MN. His music brings together a unique blend of soul, jazz, electro, and R&B, combining analog synths with dynamic rhythms to create a compelling and innovative sound.

Oxlade

Oxlade is currently part of a wave of new and young Nigerian artists who are changing the course of the Nigerian music industry. From a very young age, Oxlade was known for his great passion for music; he describes his own music as Afrofusion and Afropop.

Galliano

London-based band Galliano is coming to Amsterdam! The group debuted in 1991 with their adaptation of a Curtis Mayfield song, at a time when a wave of bands emerged that shaped and appropriated the brand new genre of acid jazz. Galliano became widely known in 1992 with 'The Plot Thickens', on which they combined extreme harmonies and jazz rhythms with urban soul.

La Nique

Amsterdam's La Nique practices the oldest and most timeless of all genres; folk. Folk a la La Nique is artisanal, substantive and tradition-conscious, with a nod to rock ('n roll), country and even r&b.
