Guido

Guido Heeneman has been working behind the scenes for years on music for well-known TV series and Netflix films. He also makes impressive compositions for NPO documentaries. A well-known example is his music for the series Krabbé Zoekt Picasso for which he won a prestigious Buma Award. Under his stage name Guido, he has been releasing his own compositions for a number of years now, which in terms of genre effortlessly fit in the row of Yann Tiersen, Ólafur Arnalds, Joep Beving and Ludovico Einaudi, but are characterised by an unmistakably personal style and personal approach. His piano music is also often used in documentaries, such as in the impressive NPO documentary Dichterbij Anne Frank .

Family Stories Part II

On March 9, 2025, GUIDO will release his album Family Stories Part II . The album is the second part of a diptych and is inspired by old 8mm family films that he found in the attic of his parental home. Like Family Stories Part I , which was released at the end of 2023, Part II is a very personal and intimate album full of beautiful and enchanting compositions. Tonight, GUIDO will perform a large part of Family Stories Part I & II . But previously released compositions and previously unreleased works will also be performed.
