Rick van Veldhuizen has a brilliant renovation in mind with Bruckner's Nulth Symphony. The first theme, which, according to others, was not recognizable enough, made Bruckner declare the symphony invalid. It is precisely this theme that plays a vital role for Van Veldhuizen. In Spiri II: Sheltered Ritual, Seung-Wong Oh actually 'brucknerianizes' her own language. Ensemble Klang and the New European Ensemble turn these hybrid worlds into structures in which Bruckner walks like an indispensable shadow.

Sharp, carefully thought-out compositions are brought to life by five expressive musicians in Ton Petit+, the larger version of the original trio Ton Petit, consisting of Anton Goudsmit on guitar, Sean Faciani on bass, and Tim Hennekes on drums. For live shows and the new album (to be released in September 2024 on DOX Records), they are joined by Mete Erker on saxophone and Joost Buis on trombone and lap steel guitar.
