Jazz Gems: Fuensanta

Fuensanta has prepared a very special premiere for this concert. She is collaborating with a string ensemble of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. She says she has been dreaming of writing chamber music for years. So when Michael Gieler, first violinist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, contacted her about writing this piece, she didn't have to think long about it. Expect a beautiful mix of Fuensanta's tender voice, together with the pleasant sound of the string ensemble in the beautiful acoustics of the Dominicus Church

Which animals do they encounter, and what do those animals sound like? And what if it starts raining or blowing? You can hear what that sounds like in the Zonzij Hall of Tolhuistuin.
