RECESS is a vibrant cultural event celebrating popular Black music and soundscapes in cities like London, Margate, and Paris. It is a convergence of different personalities and identities who all share one common goal: to enjoy their life. RECESS is more than just a party; it's a movement that fosters community, creativity and fun. RECESS events have grown from being a consistent presence in the nightlife options to becoming a big moment in the cultural calendar. You have to be there.
About YƐYƐ
YƐYƐ's gatherings mainly focus on food, music, art, and culture. They were born from the collective desire to change the nightlife scene in Amsterdam and put the emphasis on people by bridging the gap between festivals and club nights and hosting day parties. Drawing inspiration from existing brunch parties abroad, YƐYƐ chose to focus on fostering connections by keeping the events smaller and more community-oriented. The mission is to connect different souls from the Afro diaspora and beyond to provide an inclusive space for all and to foster real bonds between strangers.
